London 2012 Invitational during the Olympics
In the summer of 2012, hundreds of our talented young performers had the extraordinary opportunity to dance in the Performing Arts Educators’ London Invitational during the excitement of the 2012 Olympics. With millions of visitors flocking to London, our performers graced iconic venues, including Island Gardens on the Thames River—directly across from the Olympic equestrian events—and Warwick Castle as part of the All-England Dance Festival. In total, 1,200 of our dancers experienced the magic of London that year, showcasing their talent and embracing the vibrant atmosphere of the city that stood at the center of the world's attention.
Sydney 2000 Olympic Games
Producer Matt Straub, took 25 performing groups to the Sydney Olympics in 2000. Groups appeared on the Olympic campus at the Samsung Stage, situated on the main thoroughfare, as well as at Sydney Wonderland and The Rocks, Sydney Harbor. This Sydney 2000 American Young Artist Series presented choirs, orchestras and many dance groups to the Olympic throngs and was the inspiration and prototype for future Performing Arts Educators international outreach.
